If English is difficult for you, we can help you.
We provide lessons on a one-to-one basis for adults living in the Northern Beaches area of Sydney. We are an independent, community-based, not-for-profit organisation. Our lessons are free.
If you would like to become a student or help a friend become a student, or if you are interested in becoming a volunteer tutor, please contact us by phone or email.
Why do we need Literacy?
Communication is our goal.
Literacy Network teaches communication through listening and speaking, reading and writing in English.
Everywhere we go, we need to communicate with the people we meet. We need to share our thoughts with others so that they understand who we are, what is needed, what is offered.
Communication means asking and answering questions, sharing information about ourselves, and understanding what others share with us.

Join us and teach reading, writing and spoken English. We will train you and then match you with a student. We do not have classes.
